First described in 1999, the entourage effect is a relatively new scientific theory. It's suggested that the effect occurs when the hundreds of cannabis compounds cooperate in the CBD mixture to deliver a stronger impact than any single compound could create. In this case, it's thought the effect is useful in reducing pain and anxiety within users. The word "Entourage" is used to suggest elements working in synergy, or greater than the sum of their parts.
